Jane BRITTEN was born in Fermanagh, Irelnd in 1768 and died in Carroll County, Ohio in 1825. Jane is believed to have married Henry Brooks in Ireland. They had at least 7 children together. Sadly, Henry died on the voyage to America in 1818. Jane is buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Information on Family Search indicates Jane married Henry at Derrylick, Fermanagh in 1789. This is probably a reference to Derrylin.
Jane may have been the eldest child (or perhaps a sister) of an Anglican Clergyman in Boho, Fermanagh. DNA evidence is mounting to suggest she is related to the family of Unknown Patriarch Britton.
