Biography

James was born 22nd December 1890, his birth registered in the new year, 1891, at Willenabrina, Victoria. He was the son of Joseph Britten and Mary Parish. [1]

On 12th March 1893, at Mount Benson, South Australia, James passed away, as did Alfred, his baby brother. [2]

The next day, the brothers were buried together, side-by-side, in the original Kingston SE Cemetery. The Rev. G E Swann officiated. [3]
