Greenville was born in 1828. He was the son of Edmond Brizendine. He passed away in 1913.

- Paternal relationship is confirmed through Y-chromosome DNA testing. Frank Olinger Jr and his third cousin once removed, James Robert Brizendine (1931-2018), match on 110 out of 111 markers thereby confirming their direct paternal lines back to their MRCA Edmond Mamon Brizendine (1804-1851).
