Jane (Broad) Thompson was born in the Colony of South Australia (1836-1900)
Jane was born about 1858, probably at Sod Hut in the mid north of South Australia, about eight miles south west of Kooringa, now Burra. Her parents were Samuel Broad, a farmer, and Catherine Clarke. Her birth was not registered.
Jane died in 1922, aged 65, in Adelaide, South Australia.
