Biography
Jean Margaret Broadbent was born in 1916 in Manly, New South Wales, Australia. She was the daughter of Joseph Broadbent and Margaret unknown. [1]
Jean married Alan Wright in 1944 in North Sydney, New South Wales. [2] Alan was a Captain in the Australian Army at the time, serving under Jean's older brother, Lieutenant Colonel John Broadbent DSO. Jean's younger brother, Brian, was then a Squadron Leader in the Royal Australian Air Force.
