Biography

John Marion Broaddus[1] was born 25 April 1875[2] in Garrard County, Kentucky[2] to Albert Broaddus[2] and Susan (Sanders) Broaddus[2].

He appears in the 1880 census[3] with his parents and siblings, in the 1900 census[4] with his first wife and children, in the 1910 census[5] as a divorced man living with his mother, and in the 1920 census[6] with his second wife and children.

He passed away 3 April 1947[7] in Lexington, Kentucky[7] of esophageal cancer[7] and was buried in Gilead Cemetery, Kirksville, Kentucky[8].
