Albert was born on 11 Oct 1885 at 18 Frederick Street, Limerick, County Limerick, Ireland. [1]
On the 1901 census he was living with his family in Limerick.[2]
In 1911 he was a lodger in Belfast where he was working as a grocer's assistant.[3]
Albert served in the Royal Munster Fusiliers and the RAF in WW1.
Albert died while on his way to join the British Gendarmerie in Palestine as a constable in 1922. It is uncertain if he died and was buried at sea (which would have been before 4 May) or very shortly after landing, as 4 May is his reported date of death. There is a memorial stone in Ramleh, Palestine and he also appears on his parents' gravestone in Dublin.
