Isaac Brock Jr. was born about 1793 in South Carolina. It is currently unknown who his parents were. In 1800 there is an Isaac Brock living in Pendleton District, South Carolina and there are young children in his home. He is living between William Brock and James Brock.[1] Sometime before 1850 Isaac Brock married Sarah Sally (Unknown). In the 1850 U.S. Census they are found living in Division 25, De Kalb County, Alabama.[2] Isaac is 57 years old and Sarah is 30 years old. They have four children; Isaac W. Brock, 10 years old, born about 1840; Richard W. Brock, 8 years old, born about 1842; William F. Brock, 3 years old, born about 1847 and Harriet E. Brock, 1 year old, born about 1849. All of the children were born in Alabama. In 1860 Isaac is 67 years old and Sally is 38 years old.[3] Harriet E. Brock passed away between 1850 and 1860. John B Brock was born about 1851; Rufus R Brock was born about 1853; Robert H Brock was born about 1857 and Martha Ann Brock was born about 1859. Sometime after 1860 Isaac Brock and Sarah passed away, probably in DeKalb County, Alabama. Their graves and death records have not been found.
