She married Jacob Thomas Acker at Matteawan, Dutchess County, New York on 27 May 1853 (by Minister Matthew Van Dusen; witnesses Mr. James Baker and Mrs. Anna Baker, i.e. her grandmother with second husband).^[2] He was the son of Peter and Elisabeth (Unknown) Acker, born in New York City, New York about 1831,^[2] and he died at St Louis, St Louis, Missouri on 15 April 1895 (Age: 64).^[3]
