Avis (Brodie) Halbert is a member of Clan Brodie.
Descendant of :James Broady, circa 1698, Maryland Colony.
Avis was born in 1905. She was the daughter of Welcome Brodie and Mabel Clump. When Avis Evelyn Brodie was born on June 6, 1905, in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, her father, Ernest, was 25, and her mother, Mable, was 20. She married Dean Woodside Halbert on July 13, 1924, in Springfield, Colorado. They had one child during their marriage. She died as a young mother on September 22, 1934, in Lamar, Colorado, at the age of 29, and was buried in Pritchett, Colorado.
