When Florence Ruby Brodie was born on June 16, 1907, in Lowell, Massachusetts, her father, William, was 21, and her mother, Ruby, was 21. She lost her mother when she was only an infant, and her father when she was only one year old. Florence was raised by her Paternal Grandparents. She died on July 25, 1982, in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada, at the age of 75.
