Biography
Mary (Brodie) Cheyne is a member of Clan Brodie.
Descendant of John Brodie of Huntly, Aberdeenshire circa 1770.
When Mary Helen Kier Brodie was born on August 16, 1852, in Careston, Angus, Scotland, her father, Alexander, was 60, and her mother, Anne, was 43. She married William Cheyne on December 11, 1874, in her hometown. They had eight children in 18 years. She died in 1939 at the age of 87, and was buried in Careston, Angus, Scotland.
