Australia

Andrew and wife Mary arrived in New South Wales, Australia aboard the Matoaka on 15th May 1855. His calling was listed as a farm/agricultural labourer. Andrew's parents were both dead at the time, and he did not have any relatives living in Australia -- though Mary had an uncle in Sydney.

When his parents-in-law arrived in July 1857, he was noted as living at Mr. Gough's in Peterborough, Dapto, Illawara -- which is just by Shellharbour.

Death

Andrew passed away on 17 Feb 1892 at his residence, the Steam Packet Hotel at Shellharbour, New South Wales, Australia
