Minnie was born in 1880. She was the daughter of Colin Brodie and Margaret Wells. When Minnie Brodie was born in 1880 in Maine, her father, Colon, was 45, and her mother, Margaret, was 38. She had seven brothers and one sister. She died on July 23, 1880, in Lowell, Massachusetts, within a year of her birth.
