Benjamin was born in 1913. He was the son of Frank Brodie and Eleanor Thomson. He passed away in 1975.
He applied to become a naturalized citizen of the United States in 1942. He had entered the US at Sweetgrass, Montana in 1922 and was a resident of Clement Street in Oakland, California where he was employed as an optician. He was described as 5'11", 160 pounds with brown hair and eyes. The application indicated he married Marguerite du Chasneau on September 3, 1929 and that she was born February 22, 1917 in Reno, Nevada. His wife and a Martha Brodie of Oakland, California were witnesses.[1]
