Thanks for writing. I’m sorry that I’m not going to be of much assistance.
I expect that you have seen my contributions on the St. Louis County, MN, page. Thanks for your nice words.
All I have on the Bromans is that a woman whose last name was Marshall, born about 1901, married a man named A.K. Broman who I assume was born about the same time. I know nothing more about him.
I found that information in an obituary for John Robert Marshall who died in 1935. He was a first cousin, 2nd time removed (the son of my ggf’s brother). The original family name was Polish (Marszalkiewicz, pronounced “marshalkevidge”).
I see that there are 23 Bromans in the 1994 Duluth telephone book, the most current I have at hand. None of them have a first name starting with “A.”
I just did a search on Broman in Google (Broman Duluth) and came up with 327 hits. Apparently it must be a somewhat common Swedish name, or an uncommonly prolific Broman family in Duluth.
Sorry I couldn’t be of more help. Thanks again for writing. Keep me posted if you ever find out who A.K.’s wife was).

Hi
My name is Jean (Carlson) Peters -Born in Duluth Mn (74 yrs ago) and I am reseaching the Broman family. Found your name and a reference to the Broman family on World connect - as having an ancestor born in Duluth. in 1935. My Broman (4 brothers) family came from Vastergoland Sweden (Otterstad parish ) with the first I can find emigrating about 1882 Any connection with yours? I have just this week found a cousin of my grandfather also emigrating to Mn 1881 . His name was Carl Wilhelm Broman. ( I don't remember ever hearing about him)
Would apprciate any info you have on the Bromans .
P>S> I have seen your name on the Swedish list (or is it the Mn list?)many times- contributing lots of interesting info about Mn. .
