In 1841 he is living in Row Lane with his parents ^[3]

In 1851 Edward is still living at Row Lane with his parents ^[4]

1861 sees Edward still living with his now widowed mother on Kirkby Row ^[5]

I 1870 Edward marries Mary Kirkby (Rigby) a widow in the parish church of St Helens ^[6]

the 1871 Census shows Edward and Mary living on Kirkby Row, Kirkby with a border. ^[7]

In 1872 they had, what appears to be, their only child, Elizabeth ^[8]

In 1881 the family are still in the same home on Kirkby Row ^[10]

The 1891 census shows that Edward and Family have remained in the same house on Kirkby Row ^[11]

His wife Mary died in Jan 1897 and was buried on the 20th of that month.^[12]

Edward is recorded in the 1901 Census living on his own on Kirkby Row, Kirkby but he is Living next door to his daughter and her husband. "England and Wales Census, 1901,^[14]

Edward died aged 78 at home in Kirkby Row, Kirkby in 1907 ^[15]and left £195 to his daughter Elizabeth. ^[16]
