Biography

Mary Bromley was born about 1667 to Sir William Bromley, Knight of Bath and Vrsula (maiden name unknown). Mary was sister of Sir William Bromley II. Her brother would grow up to become a British politician and Speaker of the House[1]. She was baptized in Bagginton, Warwickshire.[2].

She married Sir Roger Cave in 1691. [3] Mary Bromley was Sir Roger's second wife.

They had three children. Eleanor, Roger and Mary. It is likely Mary did not survive.

Mary passed away in 1721.[4]

Research Notes

  • I have not edited the marriage date, although it appears to be 8 years out. I was going by the date the marriage license was applied for, which was 1691.
