Biography

James was the son of John Bronson and Mary Peck Chatterson Bronson.^[1]

James Bronson married Hannah Peck on 26 April 1737 at Farmington, Connecticut Colony. They were both from Farmington. Their first child appeared to be daughter Lydia, born on August 1738 followed by a son, Eldad, on July 30, 1740. Daughter, Mary, was born February 8, 1742/43; Sarah on August 29, 1745; and Rozanne, was born on April 29, 1748. ^[2]

The Ecclesiastical and other sketches of Southington, Conn." ^[3]lists three additional children for James and Hannah:

• James, baptized July 1751
• Hannah, baptized 1754
• Gad, baptized 1759

James reportedly died on March 28, 1775.^[4]
