Robert's date and place of birth are recorded in the extant family memorandum written by his father. His widow Elizabeth gave bond for the administration of his estate on 10 Nov 1667 with James Thompson and Thomas Edwards as her sureties.

Brooke-1907 and Brooke-670 appear to represent the same person because: Brooke-1907 is a duplicate entry, as they have the same father and there is only one known Robert Brooke born into the family. Per standard wikitree procedures it needs to be merged into Brooke-670.
