Mary Ann's birth was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1873 in the Malling district.^[1] Mary, daughter of Joseph Brooker & Mary Ann Brooker, was baptised on 28 December 1873 in Mereworth, Kent, England.^[2]

In the 1881 census Mary (age 7), Scholar, was the daughter of Joseph and Sally Brooker in Latters Building, Wateringbury, Kent, England.^[3]

She married Daniel Amos Longhurst in 1898.^[4][5]It was her second marriage^[6]

Research Notes

Her maiden name may be Brooker, marriage 1892.^[7]Her first husband may have been Henry Herbert Gould.^[8] He died age 27 in 1895.^{[9] [10]}

Mary died in 1924 in Maidstone aged 50, ^[11]
