Biography

Lance was born in 1915. He is the son of George Brooks and Lola Haynes.

He was the son of the late George and Kate Brooks. He was also preceded in death by his twin sister, Margie Carter who died in 2001. He is survived by a nephew John B. Carter and his wife, Scottie of Pineola, NC; a great-niece, Leslie Brock; two great-nephews, Martin Carter and Gary Shearer. He was a United States World War II Army veteran.
