Matilda Brooks, daughter of Thomas and Mary, ^[1] was born on 30 March 1804 in Bristol. ^[1][2] She married William Bragge Winter on 20 April 1830 in Bristol. ^[3]

On 30 March 1851 in Lewisham Hill, Lewisham, Kent, with her husband William B. Winter and their children Charles Winter aged 16, Frederick Winter aged 12, Emily Winter aged 20, Ellen Winter aged 19 and Henrietta Winter aged 17. ^[2]
