LAWRENCE A. BROOKS, one of Wilmerding's prominent business men, was born in Allegheny county. Pa., Jan. 14, 1864, son of J. M. and Anna A. (Keogh) Brooks.Mr. Brooks was married, in 1887, to Emma Brown, daughter of J. M. and Margaret Brown, of Westmoreland county, and has seven children—six boys and one girl—viz. : Francis, May, Harry, Paul, Lester, Allen and Lawrence.
