Biography

Mary P. Brooks was born on 29 Apr 1817, daughter of Benjamin Brooks (1789 - 1844) and Mary P. (Hubbard) Brooks (~1790 - 1848).

Mary (20) married Elias Palmiter (~22) (~1815 - ~1886) on 22 Oct 1837 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. [1]Their daughter was Julia Ann Palmiter (1843 - 1916).

Mary died on 20 Mar 1846 aged 28.

Research Notes

Note: !Cemetery records belonging to Roxanna (Fairman) Kinyon were found behind a cupboard during remodeling in the 1970s. These records show that El Palmiter purchased lot 58 in Kinyon Cemetery. The records do not have a date, nor name of person buried there. It is assumed that Mary, first wife of Elias, is buried there. There are no gravestones located there now.
