Saletha married Leroy Broome (~1802 - ~1887) in September, 1831. [1] They had a dozen children who lived long enough to be counted, eleven reaching adulthood. Their children were:

- Mary Jane (Broome) Bryce (1840 - 1916)
- Martin Harris Broome (1843 - 1932)

- Jesse Wood Broome (1855 - 1939)
- Leroy Floyd Broome (1858 - 1918).
Saletha died on 30 Apr 1889 in Sand Hill, Carroll, Georgia aged 74.[2]
