Edna M. Bross MorrisAUBURN ‹ Edna M. Bross Morris, 84, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Dec. 16, 2005. She had resided at Finger Lakes Center for Living in Auburn since September 2003.She is survived by a son, Gordon W. (Ronna) Morris of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Frances (Alan) Salvage of Auburn; three grandchildren, David A. Morris, Jodiene M. Spears and Robert C. Morris, all of Alabama; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Edna was predeceased by her husband, Clayton, on Aug. 11, 1999; a son, David Morris, on Oct. 15, 1999; a sister, Enola Stevens, and sister, Myrtle Smith, on June 14, 2005.Friends are invited to call from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at the Freedom Baptist Church, 3324 E. Genesee St. Road, Auburn, with a funeral service to be held at 7 that evening, at the church. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Freedom Baptist Church, 3324 E. Genesee St. Road, Auburn, NY 13021; or to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons Road, East Syracuse, NY 13057, in memory of Edna.Arrangements are by Brew Funeral Home, Auburn. ^[1]
