Euroa Advertiser (Vic. : 1884 - 1920) Fri 21 Feb 1913 Page 4 SUDDEN DEATH AT STRATHBOGIE.

SUDDEN DEATH AT STRATHBOGIE.
Mr. E. BROUGHTON.
An old resident of Strathbogie, Mr. Edward Broughton, 65 years of age, met a tragic end on Wednesday evening. He had taken a load of produce to Euroa during the day, and intended to take another the following morning. On reaching home, Mr. Broughton told the boy to take the horse out, while be went inside, but had not gone many yards when he called the boy, and then fell, death taking place immediately. Deceased had complained for three weeks previously of a pain in the region of the heart, and at a magisterial inquiry, held yesterday, the medical testimony was to the effect that heart trouble was the cause of death. Deceased, who leaves a grown up family to mourn his loss, had been a resident of the hills for many years, and was esteemed by a large circle of friends and acquaintances. -The funeral will take place to-day (Friday), the remains being interred in the Euroa cemetery.
