Alexandre Pierre Broussard, son of Pierre Broussard and Marie Melanson, was born in Cecilia, Louisiana by about 1796.[1]
On 13 October 1817 he married Marie Azelie Begnaud, their marriage recorded at the church of St. Martin de Tours in St. Martinville, Louisiana.[2]
