But Daniel is commonly named as a son of Adam because the baptism wrongly lists Adam, who was probably only a witness, in the space where the father would be named. The other clue in the baptism is a woman named Aeltje Van der Beeck. geen getuygen. It is unclear what relationship she had to either Daniel or to Adam, if any.
