On April 24, 1699, Fytje Brouwer was baptized at the Christian Church of Philipsburg, daughter of Samuel Brouwer and Grietje his wife. Witnesses to the baptism were Cornelis Van Texxel & Maria [Storm] “the wife of Casper” [Springsteen].[1]
