Joseph BROWN, son of Arthur Joseph ("Herbert") BROWN and Ellen Anastasia LAWRENCE, was born on 24 May 1917 in Swan Hill, Victoria, Australia, [1] died on 3 September 1997 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia at age 80, and was buried on 8 September 1997 in Roman Catholic Section, Fawkner Cemetery, Fawkner, Victoria, Australia. [2]

Joseph married Ellen Chriseva ("Nell", "Nellie") EADE, daughter of John Thomas ("Jack") EADE and Catherine Jane ("Kate") DAVIS, on 1 March 1941 in St. Peter's Church of England, Eaglehawk, Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. [3]

Nell was born on 24 December 1921 in Hillston, New South Wales, Australia and died on 3 May 2000 in Dandenong Hospital, Dandenong, Victoria, Australia at age 78.

They had one son: Neville.
