Stanley was born in 1930 (listed as ten years old in 1940 US census).
He married his first wife in the later 1950s, and they had two children, including Bennett Cary.
In 1950 he was working in the "coin machine" (vending machine) industry, as was his father.
From an online obituary (I believe this to be the same Stanley Brown that was born to Freda and Harry):
"Stanley "Buddy" Brown, age 77 of Viroqua, died Sunday, December 23, 2007. Buddy Stanley Brown, age 77 of Viroqua, died peacefully at his home on December 23, 2007 with his wife and daughter present. He resided in the Viroqua area for 34 years after moving from Chicago, IL. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he traveled and lived in Japan and Mexico be
fore returning to Chicago where he met his wife, Pat. After getting married they moved to Viroqua and renovated an old farmhouse. In 1974 they had a daughter, Sherry. Buddy lived his life fully and took a note from Frank Sinatra in living life "his way"."
