Sarah Margaret "Sadie" Brown was born 23 January 1895 in Nassau, Bahamas to Thomas Benjamin Brown and Barbara Adeline "Addy" Whitehead Brown.

She married Henry McWade "Harry" Thomas, son of Robert Henry Thomas and Sarah McWade Thomas, 19 May 1923, in Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada.

Sadie Brown Thomas died in 1988 in Ontario, Canada at 93 years of age. She was buried in the Old Stone Church Cemetery, Beaverton, Ontario.
