From the sources found so far Edward led a busy life. Born on a farm in Oxford County Ontario, he went on to live in Prince Edward County and then to the United States living in both Michigan and Florida. he had two wives and nine children (still sourcing that). He reported being, at different times, a teacher, minister, doctor and businessman.
