Biography

William Brown was born 1832 at Great Driffield, Yorkshire, England. Names of his parents are unknown. He emigrated to South Australia. He married Isabella Steele Clezy in 1858, probably somewhere near Adelaide but I am uncertain of the exact location. They had seven children. William Brown died in 1925 at Canterbury, Victoria, Australia, and was buried at Box Hill Cemetery.
