Frances Brown was born about 1743 in Saint Andrews Parish, Brunswick, Virginia.[1] She was the daughter of Richard Brown and Anne Colwell. She passed away after 28 Jul 1814, when she was named in her husband's will, written on that date. [2]

20 Sep 1774, Brunswick Co., VA - Frederick Burdge married Frances Brown. [4]
4 May 1781, Brunswick Co., VA - The will of Frances Brown (Sexton-582) names "my daughter Frances Burdge." The other children in Frances Brown's will are the same as those in Richard Brown's 1773 will.
28 Jul 1814, Brunswick Co., VA - The will of Frederick Burdge names his wife, Frances, and his children. [5]
