1862 Captured: name included on the List of Soldiers Captured dated 13 October 1862 containing POWs from the Battles at Iuka, Sep 19th; Corinth, 3rd & 4th Oct; Pelahatchie, 5th & 6th Oct. Paroled.
Reported ”Absent” in October (captured)
AWOL: 21 Dec 1862 - did not report back after Parole. By order of Gen Polke: Listed as “Deserter”
Captured at Port Hudson, LA
1863 July 09[1]
Listed as AWOL: 1863 Sep 15 - 1864 Apr 24 (He had been captured)
1865 May: on a List of Soldiers surrendered at Citronelle by Lt Gen R Taylor, CSA, to Maj Gen E.R.S. Canby, USA. Captured 05 May, paroled 19 May 1965 in Jackson, MS
No record after 1865; presumed dead.
