Biography

She graduated from Salem College in 1895, and studied art at Columbia University. She taught mathematics at North School in Winston-Salem for 10 years. In 1913 she married Thomas Venable Edmunds, and they were the parents of three daughters[1].

She is buried in Salem Cemetery, Winston-Salem, Forsyth Co. NC.[2]

Research Notes

In case anyone is looking, the census records for 1920, 1930 and 1940 are inaccurate on the ages of their daughters. The Forsyth Co. NC birth index shows that they were born in fall 1916, 1919 and 1920 respectively. Elizabeth Harris, 8/25/16
