In witness whereof the parties have here unto set their hands and seals the day month and year first within written. William A Brown, William Slaughter, jr acknowledged before Thomas Brown James M Slaughter, William H Smithers, Augustine Slaughter, John Revercomb.

This deed of Trust from William A Brown to Zephaniah Turner for the benefit of William Slaughter, jr was partly proved as to said Brown in the clerks office the 16th day of May 1825 by the oaths of James M Slaughter and Augustine Slaughter two of the witnesses thereto and on the 19th day of May 1825 this said deed of trust was fully proved in the clerks office as to said Brown by the oath of William H Smither the other witness thereto whereupon the same is admitted and recorded. teste Th W Lightfoot cc.
