RANDLEMAN - Charles Ross Brown, 69, of 2707 Forest Dr., died Sunday, Feb. 22, 1998, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Gray's Chapel United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Bart W. Milleson and the Rev. Wade Craven. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military honors.
Mr. Brown was a native of Randleman, he was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired employee of J.P. Stevens in Randleman and Dominion Yarn in Burlington. Mr. Brown was a member of Gray's Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ida Lineberry Brown of Randleman; son, Greg R. Brown of Randleman; daughter, Lisa B. Wright of Ramseur; brother, J.M. Brown and Bill G. Brown both of Randleman; and four grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1998, at the Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman. Memorial contributions may be made to Randleman Public Library, 120 Commerce Sq., Randleman, NC 27371 or to Gray's Chapel United Methodist Church, 5056 N.C. Hwy 22 North, Franklinville, NC 27248.
