Biography

Fuller Brown was born at Wretton, Norfolk, England in the second quarter of 1838 and registered at Downham,^[1] He was the fifth child of ten born to Drew Brown and Margaret Fuller He was named after his brother who was born in 1831 and died in 1832. Fuller was baptised on June 10 1838 at Wretton.^[2]

In 1841 three year old Fuller was living with his family at Ten Mile Bank, Hilgay, Norfolk.^[3]
He was still living at Hilgay, Norfolk with his parents and four of his sisters in 1851. ^[4] The family was still living at Ten Mile Bank, Hilgay, Norfolk in 1861 and Fuller was listed in the census with his parents and four younger siblings.^[5]

In 1881 Fuller was still living with his mother as he never married. His father had died 10 years earlier and his siblings had all left home. They were living at River Bank, Hilgay. ^[6]He was an agricultural labourer all his life.

Fuller died in the Downham district of Norfolk in 1882 when he was 44 years old. ^[7]
