Obadiah died on April 27, 1753. [1][2][3][5]He is buried in the North Burial Ground at Providence, Rhode Island. His inscription reads:
Here Lees the body of Obadiah Brown Son of John Brown.Who Departed This Life April ye 27 AD 1753.Aged 41 yrs and 8 months.[6][7]
In his will written in 1753, he names his wife Martha and seven children, two, Nathan and Isabel, having died before him. [5]
Martha died on December 3, 1778 [1], in her 63d year and is buried in the North Burial Ground with husband Obadiah and children Isabel and Nathan. [2][3][6][5]
In widow Martha's will made in 1778, she names one son Zephaniah, and her three married daughters. The division of Obadiah's estate occurred in 1783. [5]

Zephaniah born about 1739; married Dinah Westcott on March 29, 1761. [3][5]
