I'm just a simple researcher from Alabama. I maintain an active tree on Ancestry.com, but over the last two years my research has really slowed down as I've been unable to really extend any of my direct lines any further back in time. However, with DNA testing of myself and other family members, I have managed to locate lots of additional cousins.
Most of my direct-line ancestors appear to have been in America since the early 1700's and I have been able to successfully trace most of them back from Alabama to Georgia to North Carolina, South Carolina, or points further north before losing them.
My genetic makeup is 98% European, 1% Asian, <1% Finland/Northwest Russian, <1% Pacific Islander
