Biography

This Ichabod Brown, born 10 Dec 1764 at Stonington, Connecticut, was the fourth child of Thankful (Baldwin) & Ichabod Brown.

He married 8 Jun 1788 Lucy Palmer; they were third cousins via two lineages, and third cousins once removed via a third lineage. They had 14 children during the ensuing timeframe through March 1814, many of whom died during late adolescence to early adulthood.

Note: Care should be exercised to prevent confusion and probable conflation of his wife Lucy Palmer with two different persons with the same name and proximate birth dates. The Lucy Palmer who became the first wife of James York and the Lucy Palmer who married Robert Chesebrough were different from the Lucy Palmer who married this Ichabod Brown.

Ichabod Brown died 24 Dec 1825 at North Stonington, Connecticut. His grave is in the Brown-Randall Cemetery, North Stonington, New London County, Connecticut, USA: Find A Grave: Memorial #20696577
