DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Steve by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Steve:

Hi Steve,

I was browsing the list of Brown profiles and noticed that there seem to be two profiles in your name – Brown-53180 and Brown-54948.

Possibly you had an account and forgot the password or created a new account for some other reason.

If this is the case, please could you contact info (at) wikitree to deactivate one of the accounts and seek advice about migrating profiles.

Kind regards and many thanks.

Hi Steve, I've noticed most of the profiles you've added have no sources. Please remember, sources are required at WikiTree. Please see honor code #8 https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Honor_Code. I've added some sources to many of your profiles today. Thanks, Emma
HI Steve! I proposed a merge of Rebecca Farris Johnson because she already existed in the system. Be sure that you are editing existing profiles, not creating new ones. :)

Hi Steve,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Pre-1700 ancestors can be shared by many descendants, so collaboration is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

The United States Project may fit your research focus. If not, use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find other possibilities. Review the project page to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.

Have questions? Ask in the comments section of my profile.

Remember to cite reliable sources in pre-1700 profiles you manage, or edit. (See:https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles#Cite_reliable_sources).

Welcome to WikiTree!

WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!

You'll get an email from us that has helpful links to get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any other genealogy site out there.

When you confirm your email address, you’ll have an opportunity to volunteer and tell us about your genealogical interests.

What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? ?Fill in the tags and comments on your profile to show what you're researching? and click the "Save Tag(s) and Volunteer" button, and one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and you’ll be on your way!
