Marie was listed as 5 months old, living with her mother and grandparents in Morris Island in 1891.[1] In 1911, she was a boarder living with Eli Surette and his family in Arcadia, along with her two year old son, John Arthur.[2] She married William Austin Surette on July 18, 1911 in Wedgeport.[3]
