Union Co deeds concerning John G Brown
(Possible this is a different John Brown or maybe his wifes name was Sarah Elizabeth. Tyger River is in souther Union County while my Browns were in central Union County. Cannot place Jean Brown) Deed Bk F, pg 130 - John Brown and Sarah his wife to David Kenworthy for 50# Sterling - 125ac it being part of a tract of 250ac granted to Jean Brown in 1786 on the water of Cain Creek a branch of Tyger River in Union Co. Bounded Northeastwardly by the lands of John Hawkins, and reference is made to a plat of the regional grants annexed. Signed March 3, 1795, recorded June 1, 1799. (This is apparently correct John Brown as next deed on same land mentions his wife Elizabeth Brown. Research says his wife was Elizabeth Kent).
