Charles James Stouffer ( submitted information to World Connect that Edward Brown married Henrietta "Hannah" Kirby (b 1758 Md) about 1769. Henrietta's father was Richard Kirby, b 1726 and her mother was Mary ? b 1721.

Richard Wright submitted he found a Edward Brown enlisted by Captain John Reynolds in Frederick Co, Md on July 18, 1776 per Muster Rolls of Maryland Troops in the American Revolution. 1st and 2nd SC Regiment

Union Co Heritage book says "Had five sons and three daughters and believed to have come to Union Co abt 1780 -1790."

May 10, 1803 Deed Bk G, pg 405 - Edward Brown and Heney, his wife, to John Davis for 56# - 100ac on Fanning Creek being part of a 530 acre grant to Merry McGuire made March 5, 1787 from the hand of his Excellency Thomas Pinckney, Governor, said parcel having been conveyed by deed from Merry McGuire to John McGuire and from the said John McGuire to Elijah McGuire and from said Elijah McGuire to Edward Brown. Said 100 acre parcel begins at a pine on the west line of said grant, thence 160 poles along the ridge, partly East, between the water of Hugs Creek and Fanning Creek to a pine on the Mayfield path, thence partly north along a mark'd line to a stake on Elijah McGuires line, thence with said line to Cudds, running thence North 26 West to a post oak, thence partly west by a mark'd line to muddy branch, thence SW to the back line on Captain Sims Land, thence to the beginning.
