Margaret Brown was born 22 September 1840 in Humphreys County, Tennessee. She died 27 February 1922 in Dickson County, Tennessee.[1]
Obituary
Mrs. Marguerite Knight, aged 81 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. S. Hopkins, Wednesday, and her remains were taken to Erin Thursday for interment. The Dickson County Herald, March 3, 1922, page 1.

Monday morning, Feb. 27, 1922, the angels bore the spirit of Mrs. Margaret Knight back to God who gave it. Grandma Knight, as she was better known, had remained with us for 81 years and 5 months, was converted in early life. She was a member of the Arlington Cumberland Church, also a member of O.E.S. She was the mother of seven children, four of whom are still living, also several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral was conducted by Rev. A. L. Thomas and she was buried at the home of her son Mr. T. T. Knight, Tuesday afternoon, in the presence of her many friends. This is an obituary from an unknown newspaper.
